Quick update on our life: it's finally nice enough to play outside for long periods of time! Yahoo! It is so nice as this often alleviates the fighting between McKinley and Gavin. The boys and I have been sick with a cough and sore throat. We are all on the mend. Here's some free medical advice for anyone with a cough and sore throat. Eat honey-yup-eat honey. It has been tested next to cough syrup and has provided better results. Please don't give it to a child under a year old! Gavin took it the first time and wasn't too impressed with it. The second time I tried to give it to him he asked me, "mom, is it going to be sticky again?" That kid makes me laugh!
Matthew continues to commute. We haven't put our house on the market yet. Someday......

Below you see our April Blizzard! It was awful! It melted in just a couple of days, but boy did it snow and blow!!!
I came home from church to see my children lying like this watching a movie while dad takes a nap. I have primary meetings right after church, so the kids come home with dad, eat lunch and watch a movie while he tries to nap. I just thought this pic was cute as Gavin and McKinley rarely snuggle together!
This is McKinley making a mask out of a lettuce leaf! This was her bedtime snack. Yep! You heard me right, her bedtime snack!
She also had an apple to sweeten things up. She ate that whole piece of lettuce! It makes me so proud! I use to eat lettuce as a kid. It's good! I remember getting into the fridge and taking pieces of iceberg lettuce and eating them plain! Way to eat your rabbit food, McKinley!
Here is a silly pic of Jamison. He is now 4.5 months old and is starting to laugh. He loves to watch McKinley dance! He was 13.6 pounds and 24-25 inches long. Something like that. Gavin was 13 lbs at 2 months! I wonder why he was so fat! Jamison is running about even with McKinley. He is finally into his 3-6 month clothes!
Oh-one more update. Gavin has been sleeping horrible at night. He wakes up and calls for us, comes in our room and then requests that we go lay by him. One of us has been sleeping on his floor for most of the night the past several nights. I'm hoping its just because he is sick. Regardless, we decided to have McKinley and Gavin share a room in hopes that McKinley would provide Gavin some comfort. Didn't work last night, but he seems to be sleeping better tonight, so we'll see. McKinley was bummed because she loved sharing a room with Jamison. Tough luck, kid!
